Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the oldest of three daughters. She was the daughter of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8]) and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate developers. Her grandfather moved to Greece in 1904, and her maternal grandmother was of Irish heritage. Her parents got married in the year 1976. Psaki also has Polish ancestry.Psaki has graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In the year 2000, she was awarded an College of William & Mary degree in English and Sociology. She is a part of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki was an athlete in the backstroke on the William & Mary Tribe's athletic team for two consecutive years. Psaki started her career in 2001, as a candidate for re-election for the U.S. Senate of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack. Psaki then became John Kerry's press secretary. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced that Psaki will be an analyst for the 2022 United States elections and during the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, she will host a program on MSNBC’s Peacock streaming service. [35] Psaki was the first to make a television appearance following her departure from her post as White House Press Secretary on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in a discussion about the Robb Elementary School shooting.
